BP-2080 Automatic Back Pressure Regulator
The BP-2080 is a programmable device for supercritical fluid chromatographs and extraction equipment.
Features:
- Since the dead volume is small (10µL or less), peak components and extracted components do not re-mix giving precise fractioning and separation.
- To control pressure, a valve rod oscillates to repeatedly open and close the valve. The pressure is maintained by changing the time interval between valve opening and closing.
- Since a constant pressure is applied to the extracted components, there are no valve blockages caused by the materials being analyzed.
- The time program enables temperature and pressure changes to be made.
- A flow-through type strain gauge pressure transducer is used to measure the pressure. The unit is designed to minimize dead volume.
- The valve rod inside the valve unit is maintained at a constant temperature by digital PID control
Specificaions:
- Operating pressure range : 1.0~50.0MPa
- Operating flow rate range : 0.1- 120 ml/min max. as liquid carbon
- Pressure control precision : +/- 2% of the setting value or +/- 0.2MPa, whichever is larger.
- Temperature setting range : 35 ~ 80 deg. C (Aluminum block temperature inside the heater jacket)
